BOAT ENGINE HYDRO FOIL

Have you ever wondered why your boat takes too long to get up on step or plane? If you are like us you carry lots of gear on your boat and with 2 or 3 guys you are adding weight your engine just might not handle very well. If that's the case then you need to get one of these Hydro Foils... we use it on both of our boats and we LOVE it! This little jewel gets the boat on step much faster and easier and it improves handling as well.

CRC INDUSTRIES, INC.

If you spend time on salt water and even fresh water you need to protect your engines electronics and metal parts. This lubricant will eliminate a lot of headaches down the road. CRC 6-56 is a silicone based product, displaces water/moisture, doesn't cause rubber to crack, and it's film lasts much longer than WD40's.

SMALL ROWBOAT ANCHORING SOLUTION

CANYON REELS

We have been using the Canyon Backwater 2000 reel for several years now on both fresh and saltwater environments and it has performed flawlessly...at the end of the day just rinse in fresh water, oil the usal spots and you are done!

MINN KOTA TROLLING MOTOR

This is the BEST investment we ever made in boat trolling motors. Imagine yourself slowly trolling the shore line or fishing a deep spot with nothing to pinpoint where you are. A power pole or an anchor is not going to help you hold to that exact spot if the water depth is beyond 10ft... but this trolling motor will! A key feature of this thing is "PARK aka anchor"... click that button and the GPS enabled head will keep you over it even in the wind! It comes with a lot more options but the PARK feature we like most of all.

TRIMAX BOAT TRAILER TONGUE LOCK

Your boat cost you big bucks and you need to protect that investment from some low life looking to steal it from you. If you store your boat or trailer outdoors like we do then you need to get one of these theft proof trailer locks!! We have been using it for years now and have never experienced a loss or theft of our boat or trialer.

RATTLE PROOF TRAILER TONGUE LOCK

This is another super piece of gear that we use. How many times have you noticed an annoying banging and rattaling of your trailer tongue when traveling over bumpy roads? This lock will PREVENT that from ever happening again! It will lock the tonque down securely as well making it almost impossbile for someone to steal your boat unelss they walk around with a spanner in their pocket!

CARROTSTIX RODS

If you want a fishing rod that won't break the bank, and that will out perform those high end expensive rods, then the Carrot Stix will fit that bill. The spinning and baitcaster versions are gorgeous rods at a very affordable price. We have used both versions for several years and love them!!

PERSONAL LOCATOR BEACON

We fish the back bays often for stripers, blues, fluke and are barely in sight of land somtimes which means along with our life belts we carry other safety gear like the ACR PLB ResQLink GPS Strobe. This thing is waterproof, small, and easily carried on your person. We take boating safety seriously and you should too so get one of these if you fish the backbays like we do.

FISHING LINE CUTTER

We have probably tried every line cutter on the market and all of them don't come close to this line cutter. This thing is a super cutter and is one that we HIGHLY recommend! It cuts mono and especially braid with ease... clip it to your belt loop or bag with the attached retractable tether.

YAMAMOTO SENKO WORMS

We have used many different kinds of soft baits for large and smallmouth bass over the years but none beat the Senko 5" worm for constant hook ups. You need to try them... you will not be disappointed!

RATTLE TRAP LURES

This is another one of our "go to" hard baits that we have used not just for freshwater bass but for stripers and bluefish as well! The Rattler comes in both freshwater and saltwater versions with the latter being more robust. Check out the webpage we put up showing us using this lure here ...

KASTKING RODS

The KastKing line of moderately priced Perigee rods were brand new to us. We worked them heavily under many conditions and they performed flawlessly! If you are thinking about adding a new rod to your collection make sure you give them some serious consideration. And check out their Copolymear line as well... this line TOTALLY wipes out the competition in price and performance!!

HOOK-EZE

Save your fingers and other objects from getting caught with your hooks when transporting a rod with the hook still attached. These things are a great little item to have that completely prevents this from happening.

THE MYLINE DANCER

NAVIONICS SONAR SOFTWARE

Incredible depth detail and strucure lines - use it to catch fish and for saftey. Your sonar is a great tool that tells you in real time what depths you are running over but it does not tell you what you are heading into. Navionics sonar maps gives you that detail long before you get there so you know what to expect.

FISHING REEL OIL

We don't have any video or a webpage about this oil but we did purchase it! Not only is this a good reel oil but what got us interested is the applicator... a very thin metal tube that allows you to place the oil precisely in all of the parts needing oil without the usual overspill.

FLIP UP BOAT CLEAT

We recently decided to replace our current stainless steel cleats on the Lund after numerous cuts and abrasions we experienced with them... they had sharp edges. Our new flip up cleats are fantastic, they fold down to a low profile when not in use and are also made of stainless steel for strength. You will love them!

INFLATABLE LIFE BELT

You will notice in all of our videos and webpages that the Guys wear their life belts ALL of the time on both fresh and saltwater. We find the waist belt versions to be the most comfortable and highly recommend them. No matter how good a swimmer you think you are don't ever go fishing on a boat without one!
